I heard an interesting snippet of information that the Russian's latest armour can stop nato standard 5.56mm rounds. Hopefully some impetus to match them and hopefully our XTClave tech will get a bit more attention...? Could be why the US is moving to the 6.8mm round with their new standard rifle?
Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge can comment.
