Hi Drswing, OldGeo Yes, according to the depth structure map, it is at mid-Aptian level. The map also notes that the mid-Aptian level is at the base of the Saturn fan, top of the source rock, but who knows.
If we had structural closure (ie, strat, or other kind of trapping) at the first horizon only; then this is going to severely impact the potential volumetrics OldGeo: agreed, assuming the first horizon is the shallowest.
verses having structural closure on the 3rd deepest horizon (which may allow trapping of horizon 1 and horizon 2 also ,via migration paths?) Is this fair to say? OldGeo: agreed, as long as there are favourable migration pathways from the 3rd deepest horizon into the shallower, prosecutive horizons.
