we can just as easily drift down on good mets when we have a sp at 2c than 20c

as I said in my other post in reply to pa, I'm not advocating a consolidation by any means. just don't understand why everyone seems to think consolidations will automatically result in a reduction in mc.

and also as I said in my earlier post I agree that when a company is on its last legs and the sp is very low, then a consolidation gives shareholders an easier way to cash out (if they are quick) thus resulting in a reduction in mc in these limited circumstances
