The biggest issue with consolidation is the artificially increased leverage gained from reduction in SOI and increase in SP to cover consolidation. This gives the BOD more leverage room to CR again. Generally the reason to consolidate is because the company has eroded leverage and are after capital where venture providers have shown little interested and need to resort to placement. Having less shares on the registry give the company more scope to print shares hence why consolidation can be a thorn to existing holders
At 2bn SOI I wouldn't panic ATM as the Coy have some potential upcoming news that can increase leverage holistically through company growth, value and short term benchmarks.
I sincerely hope the BOD look at all leases. Sell what has become stale or to hard and concentrate on leases like Mt Lindsey and Brothers.
