I think we know that getting some money through the door is better than just sitting back and hoping some big knight in shinning armour will come and give us some large sum of money.
I think though they hoped with everything intact and the resource not touched then they were more likely to get that partner before they started to butcher it up.
I said it before and quite a few of us did. It's better to get some money through the door so BSX are not so vulnerable.

I remember one friend of mine who was out of work and had no money to keep going. I asked him how he solved the situation. He said he had 5 credit cards and he kept paying from one to the other to the other til he got back on his feet again. It worked for him. I had to laugh.
