Why are ADNs halloysite/kaolin deposits valuable and unique?
There is so much interest now that some people might not have seen Samso's interviews with James Marsh.
In one of those interviews JM explains why H-K on the Eyre Peninsular and in particular Camel Lake H-K is unique
The condition required to form the uniform thin-walled Halloysite nanotubes is that the flat kaolin plates are curled into tubes/cylinders by water with a ph<2.
James has said that there is no other location in the world that had the right conditions on a regional scale to for large commercial deposits of halloysite.
The key words he uses are : "large commercial"
There are other deposits that contain halloysite but large end customers want to know you can supply them with volume product for 20-30 years.
    Note this from Wiki:
"One of the largest halloysite deposits in the world is Dunino, near Legnica in Poland. It has reserves estimated at 10 million tons of material. "
    ADN deposits:
    Great White - 26mt resource
    Hammerhead - 51.5mt
    Mt Hope - 18mt
There's much more to come including Camel lake.
