Well, there share price say's it all again. They haven't attracted much investor interest in the company which will of most certainly hamper the cash flow. They already had control over the company and voting power, preventing investors having there say in the company and obviously they didn't care about what investors had to say. But YES, this would have been totally different if this was not the case.
