Please be advised of the following information in relation to the rollover of
March 2013 Capital Notes (FBI040).

The Election Date for FBI040 is Friday, 15 March 2013 and the Election Record
Date is 5pm Friday, 25 January 2013.

Accordingly, trading in FBI040 will be halted at market close on Tuesday, 22
January 2013, which is three Business Days prior to the Election Record Date.

Election Details:

For those who elect to retain their Capital Notes on the new terms, quotation
of the new FBI120 securities will commence on Monday, 18 March 2013, being
the business day immediately following the Election Date.

The new terms and ISIN for these securities will be contained in the Listing
and Quotation Notice, which will be sent to the market as soon as these
details are available.
