Subject: Rollover of Fletcher Building Industries Limited Capital Notes
("FBI050")

Message:

Please be advised of the following information relating to the rollover of
the Fletcher Building Industries Limited May 2014 Capital Notes (FBI050).

The Election Date for FBI050 is Thursday, 15 May 2014 and the Election Record
Date is 5pm, Wednesday, 26 March 2014.

Accordingly, trading in FBI050 will be halted at close of business on Friday,
21 March 2014.

For those who elect to retain their Capital Notes on the new terms, quotation
of the new FBI130 securities will commence on Friday, 16 May 2014, being the
business day immediately following the Election Date.

The new terms and details of FBI130 will be provided in a Quotation Notice,
which will be released to market at such time as the information is
available.

A timetable of events is below:

Final day of trading in FBI050: Friday, 21 March 2014
Election Record Date: Wednesday, 26 March 2014
Election Notices returned to Registry: Monday, 28 April 2014
Election Date: Thursday, 15 May 2014
Commencement of trading in FBI130: Friday, 16 May 2014
