I dont think Hamish will be back. Too much "cult of personality" history which will finally now stop.
The other question is how good he is really at investing ? Frankly, it doesn't look too good - there is more to investment than prowling a stage Steve Jobs style, but he was good at getting people to invest their money. I actually think that Chris MacKay is a better investor, but they are coming from a long way behind from a performance perspective. This will take a while to work out completely.
