They were on correct path before Covid and now you need a portfolio that will work for higher interest rate environment. This will be very different to last 2 years or even Magellan was growing fast after GFC.I had a look at MFF portfolio and it has similarities and may be even more conservative. It will be interesting to see where Chris is going to take it. Even when Hamish comes back management structure will be very different for better. It may not look like a one man show with more segregation of duties. For example Chairman and chief investment officer should be different.
