Victoria is a great asset- and Gina had stouches with Victorian politicians recently over netball sponsorships, so all this is good in the scheme of things.... but don't forget that wokeness and native title has gone bezerk in Victoria. So we may just get more, and more red tape for years to come. It could last many years. Victoria geo department is approving nothing. An aboriginal group could derail things any time they like. There's no rush now- the future of this project will be in the 'quality of the contract'. I hope cyl can protect the business model from frivolous ideas of current generations... by having clauses which keep work rolling.
I think the recent flooding in mitiamo is a factor too. Farmers can apply for flood relief there. Where does the water go when it rains? In our tunnel?
