I sold my last remaining parcel of WGO yesterday (I've been selling progressively over the last month) so I'm all out. My rationale:
- BPT is out, STX is unlikely to increase their offer further, Gina may increase her offer further to say $ 0.35 to win over fence sitters
- if Gina doesn't increase her offer further, shareholders can take Gina's $0.28 or swap for STX shares
- IMO STX's price will likely drift lower towards $0.28 if there are no further bids
So on balance, whilst I will miss out on any increase from further bids for WGO, for me I'm happy to take the cash to deploy elsewhere.
I want to buy STX as I believe it will be a target, however hopefully I can get in at a lower level (sub $0.30) once the dust settles.
