Almost a comical situation if finances weren't so tight. This kind of "trying to be a hero" happens all the time. These guys must have ventured onto the areas, had a look around where they were supposed to trench and saw nothing interesting. Then they must have stumbled onto the good looking quartz veining. They probably thought that they could bypass phase 2 and go straight to phase 3 and be heroes. After all, the mineralisation is quartz vein type. Now they have lots of egg on their faces.
The only positive to come out of all this is that the mineralisation is not in those veins they tested. They will I'm sure, obey Peter's orders from now on.
