The Independent Directors recommend shareholders vote in favor of the Critical Metals transaction.
NMT being the largest shareholder won't be voting, considering they have a 33% stake in HNR that's a huge chuck of the voting power gone. Without NMT in the Top 20 the amount of control the Top 20 have reduces dramatically.
The way I see it, by NMT not voting, HNR will be trying to gauge the Australian investor market for it's appetite in battery recycling!! Is there enough investor demand & do shareholders want to see this happen?
This won't be a situation where NMT uses her weight to drag HNR shareholders around. HNR is giving it's shareholders a voice & the opportunity to stand on their own two feet & drive HNR in the direction we want to see her go.
Battery recycling in the Nordics & perhaps in the UK & Ireland with Greenhouse.
The decision is yours & yours alone.
