What little I know about Audax from the original Hart's Range announcement...
Audax has an exclusive Option Agreement with Barfuss Corporation to enter into a Joint VentureAgreement to earn up to 85% of the Harts Range Niobium, Uranium and Heavy Rare Earths Project onthe following terms set out below. On and from Completion under the Agreement between the CCZand Audax, CCZ will assume the inherent responsibilities and obligations under the Option Agreement.
To me, it appears Barfuss Corporation own the rights to gemstones at Hart's Range then sold the option for 85% of Niobium/Uranium/HRE to Audax who were subsequently bought by Castillo. In other words, Audax were just a holding company for the licence.

I'd have to read it again but from memory it appears Barfuss have been aware of potential for Niobium/Uranium/HRE for a number of years and have tried to partner with a number of interested parties. Progress has been slow due to a legal dispute but clearly that's in the past.
