DAMIAIN BROWN

Damiain started his career in broadcast engineering before transitioning to subsea asset integrity. In 2006, he went on to join Fugro, a Dutch multinational company specialising in acquiring and analysing geotechnical, geophysical and integrity related data. Whilst there, Damiain worked in a diverse range of technical and operational management positions involved in developing a wide range of hardware and software solutions.
Between 2015 and 2020 he played a leading role in transitioning Fugro’s asset integrity operations towards autonomy and remains consumed by the transformative power of the Harvest Technology stack. “As soon as we started working on the first proof-of-concept, I knew I had to work with Harvest. Having spent a significant amount of time working in remote environments, I understand the challenges both professionally and personally. Harvest's offering changes the game. The technology drew me to the company and made me want to be part of its future," says Damiain. "I love technology, and the knowledge that at Harvest we are making a difference to the environment and enhancing people's lives.”
In 2020 Damiain joined the Harvest team as the company’s General Manager of Embedded Systems, working with the leadership team to build the product and development team to deliver the next generation of hardware products to market. The company appointed Brown Chief Product Officer in June this year. In this role, his long-term vision is to make Harvest an industry standard for remote operations and the go-to brand for connecting workers. “Our strategy this coming year is to expand our customer base and scale our technology, making it accessible to the wider market. Key to achieving this is a core focus on consistent development in our core products, improving user interface and experience, and expanding our feature sets,” explains Brown.
