Can I check my understanding of what you have posted..are you saying that some other farmers in the same region say that sultana yield this year was in line with an average or higher? and therefore, the reported yield and lower weight of the crops are not weather related?
would you have a link to any agricultural stats that can confirm the verbal statements of other farmers?
i suspect that MRG is not the most popular kid on the block, as farmers usually do not give much respect to "finance guys", but what you seem suggesting is that MRG management simply misled the market, either deliberately or due to the lack of expertise in agriculture. do i understand your post correctly?
