To fulfill our vision and to promote growth within the EMEA region, we seized the opportunity to present our Nodestream™ technology to the commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) sector at DroneX Tradeshow and Conference in London.Our UK team, Martyn Hopkins, Head of Sales EMEA and Andy Freeman, Technical Sales Manager EMEA, attended the exhibition with our partner, Inmarsat Aviation & the worlds most reliable operator of global satellite networks – marking the first joint display in the UK, as part of the Velaris network. The event brought together suppliers, manufacturers, and key buyers associated with commercial, surveillance, emergency services, and future of flight activities and development.
The core purpose of the show was to ignite conversations and encourage collaborations between industry to further develop tangible outcomes, as the UAV sector continues to evolve and expand. “For UAVs to transform industries, being able to provide secure and resilient communication links to stream instant real-time high-definition video during BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) flights is a requirement for accelerating UAV adoption and this is what Harvest can deliver,” explains Martyn Hopkins, Harvest’s Head of Sales EMEA.
Our Nodestream™ protocol received considerable interest at the show and has created new opportunities with emergency services and surveillance organisations in the UK and EMEA region. “Like we’ve seen with defence applications, UAVs have the potential to revolutionise many sectors including emergency services, first responders, air transport, logistics, delivery, mining, and infrastructure, by delivering commercial advantage and sustainability pathways to organisations that adopt new technology,” says Hopkins.
The exhibition is a key part of our partnership with Inmarsat Aviation and our marketing strategy to build a presence within the UK/EMEA region, leading to opportunities that diversify our customer and income base through new sectors.
