Given increasing risk of China/US conflict the German's will have no choice but to back HAS if they want a guaranteed supply of RREs . Lynas is strongly aligned with Americans who will have first dibs on any RREs in any conflict. And with global supply risks at an all-time high, doesn't make sense to add risk by backing projects/mines in developing countries.
So in theory credit & market risks are covered for HAS. Question will be operational risk & whether management can pull it off and get a viable mine up & running.
