There’s just one teeny problem: Lynas has spent a decade developing and proving the extremely difficult and complex processes AND IP to refine and separate rare earths. Some engineers believe the overall complexity of the multiple processes involved is higher than ALL other large-scale chemical plants world-wide.
I seriously question the projected costs and timescales currently being suggested by other wannabes.
And then there’s the question of the proven quality controls demanded by customers. That also took Lynas years to prove, and it’s done that very well and reliably, making it now look easy. It wasn’t.
