Ive always noted that when the sp is going down there is 1 million lots at certain prices. 27c, 26c 25c were all there. When the sp is going up there is 1 million lots on the sell side. So looking at the depth now there is no 1 million lots on the buy side meaning the repurchasing at the lower price has all been completed. The last of the lot was at 25c, it went to 27c on Friday then it had to come down to 25c for the short sale to be completed as there was still  1 million there.

The shorters have done the damage and may look to rebuild their position from here on as they can see the whole sector has been brutally killed off for no reason. Macquarie and other brokers have now got what they wanted a target price of 25c and have bought at these levels. Now they would start accumulating and push the sp higher. If you see 1 million lots on the buy side at lower prices you know thats where it is headed. Its a trend Ive always noted on the depth and it always comes true. Look for 1 million lots on the sell side now.



Its a matter of holding strong when these situations unfold cause the aim of the short selling is to squeeze out the little guy and make them really p-off and nervous as fk. Once the dollars roll in the rerate would come. Shares are just like footy teams, they would eventually turn around and come good i.e. Melbourne Demons, 17th finishing position in 2014 slowly crept up, 13th to 11th to 9th now top 8 or even Richmond. All would come good in the end.
