Yeah - I was thinking that while OZL was independent and had a lot of experience and a track record of construction in South Australia that they were best the logical developer of this project. Now that OZL has been swallowed up by BHP the expertise of exploration and development will either stick around for BHP's Oak Dam development, or look elsewhere, or retire depending on where they are in their careers. I think SFR just have so many options in Botswana and elsewhere, that this project just wouldn't win any beauty pageant of potential development projects that are around in their eyes.

I agree with @Guerilla comments about other potential suitors although S32 will have their hands full developing Hermosa so are unlikely, and EVN is a "long shot", but not unheard of, as we can recall that EVN was founded on a "failed project" called Mt Carlton (which ended up being the foundation bedrock of EVN along with Barrick throwing away all their Australian assets for next to nothing).
