Its all just speculation at the moment Trees.

Going from the Quarterly Report, there seems to be some negotiation's happening behind closed doors. Information from past news articles suggest Hancock want to indulge in Lithium projects.
On numerous occasions, news articles also mention NMDC doing an offtake agreement, so if Hancock agree to a majority stake holding I'm sure they'll have no problem offloading the metal or finding investors to fund the project.

They all seem happy with Atlas's management but as stated :
"After the completion of the Desk Top Study (DTS) by Hancock during the quarter, the Company continues to discuss the other critical minerals opportunities, notably lithium, at Mount Bevan with its JV partner Legacy Iron Limited and the terms of what a transaction with Hancock might involve on this opportunity. An ASX announcement on this matter will be made if and when such terms are agreed to.

I guess we'll see what the future holds....
