Whilst I might prefer there to be no changes in this position at this stage - I had a look over Paul Cassano's linkedin profile and he certainly has the right combination of mining, construction and management experience for the role - and much of that experience is with Australian operations of multi-national organisations. He also seems to be based in Brisbane and has been a self employed adviser since March 2022 - therefore likely to provide stability in the role from here. Therefore, whilst I initially felt some negativity about the change - having done a little research I see this as a positive.
