I was just thinking over a cup of coffee, if you were going to buy-out Beach, why would you want to do so after the TW sale? Wouldn't it make better sense to buy the whole thing, and then on-sell TW. Surely much higher prices could be achieved with this senario. I mean its not as if Beach was burdened with debt. As I said in a previous post, beware what you wish for. The TW sale was so anticipated, and what has come as a result....As I also mentioned in a post today, Eastern Star has almost overtaken Beach in market capitalisation, and without Beach's strong cash generating assets. Not the same companies, and perhaps an unfair comparison, but it still begs the question to all those shareholders wanting a white knight to come galloping over the hill with a buyout offer of $2+, why would they?
