The answer to that is that it is not currently worth the capital expense. We need to get further down that usual technology cost curve before it will be. But apart from energy storage ( batteries, pumped hydro, heat, etc) I think we will see more entrepreneurship finding new ways to use that cheap power over time also. It's an opportunity waiting for answers
