    The hydrogen lifecycle of electrolysing, compressing and storing is incredibly inefficient. Worse if you have transport it.
    renewable power will become so abundant at certain times of the day it will be free BUT lithium batteries are also really expensive so there will never be enough to store all the energy.
    pumped hydro is fantastic but not in WA. So where does the excess power go? I am doubtful but also curious whether electrolysis can store it cheaply enough. This would have to have days of storage, not hours like lithium batteries. Maybe flow batteries will store bulk cheap power.
