The best actual announcement I have seen for 'fully continuous' operation is from the pre-pilot plant back in April 2018. It has some detail were this ann IMO does not.
The funny thing is, later in Aug 2018, they uploaded the video below showing graphite being removed from the pilot plant, as a batch into a plastic container, which amongst other things, would indicate that the graphite was cold so the pilot plant had be shut down for some time to cool down otherwise the plastic would have been melted with hot graphite.
Don't get me wrong, I am very pleased to get this announcement BUT I would appreciate more detail on what stage/version of 'continuous' they are at. From the ann I can only conclude that they are working towards fully continuous & have no idea if this was a short continuous run i.e. iron ore automatically in/out, graphite automatically out.
Anyway we will find out more over the next 5 months as testing progresses.
