We all know that. Thats never been in question at all. The company tech is pyrolysis of methane. Thats what they do, they process methane. Righht now not a single person cares where it comes from while the upscaling is being done.
It can be natural gas, which to be used gets processed to 99.99% methane...or biogas, which also gets processed the same. There may be slight variances in the ppm range, but it is the methane it's used for. Alot of CSG derived gas comes right out of the ground at 99%. The CO2 is scrubbed out through amine contactor circuits at LNG plants. It's much cleaner than the conventional reservoirs with higher associated CO2.
Biogas when it is burnt releases CO2...same with any methane being burnt. The biogas we are processing at Woodman Point is being scrubbed to be as clean as possible with as little sulphur and CO2 as they can get. The more pure the better.
You can go on for days about whatever type of methane you want and pretend like it matters at the moment with wording and description if you want. For business cases in some jurisdictions the Biogas will be a great feed gas, the best even. Not one single person disagrees with that. The point is that we process methane. Thats what we do. Nobody at the company cares if it's natural gas, methane biogas, even potentially syngas. It's methwne they want, at the highest purity possible.
