The December ANN said "the CDP will use the planned shutdown over Christmas/New Year to cool the reactor and allow the first solids charge to be installed in the vessel."
This is enough to say batch operations to me. A fixed amount of catalyst might have been added via the catalyst feed injector, but while the reactor was cold.The video from 2018 you mentioned I think most likely shows graphite from a storage hopper being emptied into a container, not directly out of the reactor.
If you recall the August 2023 webinar, Mark Edwards indicated there are several hoppers installed at the CDP.
