The Haber process makes ammonia from nitrogen and hydrogen. Ammonia can be easily transported and converted back to hydrogen. So far so good because hydrogen has to be made first, and the hazer process is a candidate.
But if someone came up with a way of making ammonia from nitrogen and water (which contains the hydrogen) it would be the death knell for Hazer. (Unless it's energy requirments were prohibitive). Just thinking.
