Agreed, Although this is only the one patent reaching granted status in Australia, it is the big one. With AU 2016312962 ( A process of controlling the morphology of graphite) also accepted and currently in the mandated 3 month opposition period, the IP in Australia is looking very good and bodes well for the other 22 zones in progression.
HZR have previously stated their caution in announcing minor steps in IP progression and the rationale is worth re reading, given that this substantive milestone is due to be announced on Tuesday.
