Rather than releasing CO2 as a gas like Steam Methane Reforming, the CO2 component in HZR plants is turned into solid graphite of varying types dependent on process conditions. Supposedly customized for certain downstream use cases.
A battery grade graphite has been produced which works well against benchmarks. Graphite has 101 uses, and potentially used to create graphene.
That's the deal with graphite here. Zero emmissions hydrogen production.
