Given China's dominance of critical minerals including graphite, and the acknowledged requirement that Chinese companies must act upon the directives of the CCP, it always seemed to me the most blinding naivety to contract a Chinese company to build the reactor. It is plausible that the failure to build the reactor was one of those accidental on purpose things. What is more, they may well have outbid the competition on this project for the sole purpose of not completing it and delaying the project. Given the current geopolitical climate considerations such these are legitimate and should have been canvassed by the management including the board.

They in fact sourced an Australian company for the build. That company manufactured in China. It wasnt rhe finished product to be done in China.
