Another recent enabling development for hydrogen fuel cell adoption has come out of Touchstone Research Laboratories which has just successfully spun out Cfoam that has a few familiar faces on the thread. They have a new fiber reinforced alloy that can reduce hydrogen cylinder weights by about 65%.

Many of the historic barriers to hydrogen entry are being solved, perhaps the final straw will be low cost production which will lead to the rapid expansion of infrastructure
