Have you read the Primetals MOU announcement? There's a flowsheet for possible integration of the Hazer process into steelmaking. Apart from the hydrogen, the Hazer process produces graphite mixed with iron ore (the Hazer process catalyst) which could conceivably be directly input to the steelmaking process as the source of carbon in place of coke.
