There could be something in that, looking at the height of the Somali Horn of Africa piracy 2008 to 2012, Austal's shareprice did have some steep rises in 2009 and 2010 and quickly fell very low by the end of 2012. I'm a fairly recent holder so I'm not sure how much that piracy correlated to Austal's fortunes or not, or whether there were other separate factors
