Artcle published recently indicated that HMC were being pressured increase their offer to pay up to 40c on the dollar by Healthscope lenders. I'm not sure Brookfield actually has a lot of influence now, it sounds like the Healthscope business is going to be sold for a nominal value with the buyer/s assuming a circa 40% portion of their debt.
