I have a few gambles in my portfolio, stories i like (or at least once did). Have lost my shirt on a few before. Stocks I have large positions in and call investments have good dividend yields and stable forward guidance or have a well articulated path to growth. Can’t be perfect for sure. But I’m just trying to raise the awareness of the difference between investing and gambling. HCW have told us their largest tenant isn’t paying their rent, it will be resolved somehow but how and at what cost? Too many unknowns to invest presently, it might be a good gamble?!? But call it what it is.
