not sure what makes you assume anything but I can tell you one thing that your reading into things here is very subjective and biased like Tarvold and noomxx.
you said that " With the debt restructured at lower levels, 40c on the dollar so 1.6B to 640M, " but you don't realise or you have intentionally forgotten or just naive like many other on this platform that those who bought healthscope debt for 40c aren't doing charity neither they are hospital operator so those who bought debt at 40c not going to sell those debt to new buyer at 40c but they will be going for 80c plus ...! Why ? Because high risk high reward..so no 640m is fake and nonsense !
which means while new owner won't be taking debt of 1.6b but they still be having big debt unless noomxx and Tarvold together use their savings account and buy healthscope in cash .
