I'm unsure if reinstating the dividend is a good call or if a reduction in liabilities would be a better approach. No doubt, the new owners of the Healthscope businesses within the properties are going to play hardball on rent when they take over.
The value of the properties are propping up the debt ratios and with barely any cash on hand I'd prefer a de-risking of the business over a resumption of potentially unsustainable distributions.
