I cannot help but be impressed by GMD sheer audacity at being a king maker, without actually being a king at all.
RF is basically holding it all together. To buy up DCN for peanuts, to then 'save' SBM' shareholders buy taking their best (yes... poorly managed) asset and repacking it with a clear reward to GMD holders.... wow.
I still struggle to understand how SBM was run so badly. Why was Tower Hill never put into production?
Anyway.... the wording of the presentation is very savvy, but... it cannot hide the fact that GMD actually provides very little to the new potentially merged entity. SBM could easily change their mine plan... but... they don't.... even when shown what to do. hmmmm...
Good luck to GMD holders, I bear no ill will.
