re: Ann: Heemskirk Tin - Latest Drilling Exte... Certainly a lot to look forward to potentially for Stellar shareholders Sears.

The consensus view on the market outlook was that conditions would gradually strengthen through the year. Most of the delegates expected the highest tin price will be in the 4th quarter of 2013 and the lowest tin price will be in the 1st quarter of 2013. The majority of delegates (22) expected that the global market will be basically balanced in 2013, 9 delegates forecast a supply deficit and 3 a supply surplus.

How happy would you be though as a long term holder if Gips big chunk of Stellar shares went to one company and a takeover was launched for Stellar with the share price at this unrepresentative level?

Stellar could repeat the previous defence of doubling the number of shares again but that would not be much a of a late Christmas present for shareholders.

It could well be that this elephant in the room that is helping keep down the share price as one thing the market always hates is uncertainty.

Both Gip and Stellar could take away a lot of that uncertainty of course, Gip by saying it will not sell the shares of eight months or a year or till they are worth a large multiple of the present price and Stellar re affirming its determination to stay independent and making it obvious it would be interested in those shares.

Stellar may well lose out in a bidding war over them to a party with deeper pockets but at least that would push the Stellar share price up and flush out a possible takeover.

Maybe it needs someone with the ear of management to have a word?

On the international radar front Stellar has had a try.

As Europe's biggest mining investment and raising event, Stellar Resources took a fresh approach in sharing its tin story.

Stellar surprised visitors to the booth with a real tin man. The tin man, or solder's 'new man' was a novel approach to explaining Stellar's Heemskirk Tin Project.
Someone had a good idea but they did not really run with it if they should have given it the full blown wizard of OZ treatment but i guess they did not have the courage.

As it was it was only one step up from this

The Stellar stall probably stood out as much as a munchkin at a Snow white get together.

They should have shelled out a bit more and got one of those living statues as the tin man to attract people to the stall and hand out leaflets.

It would have been a bit cheesy but it would have raised a few laughs and some attention.

As it is the stage where Stellar is getting enough attention is somewhere over the rainbow.

Oh, what a world! What a world!
