    Titanium depletion. Titanium values drop from above 10-12% for the majority of the samples analysed to an average of less than 3% in the section of core between 311m and 319m.

    10% Titanium? That's moderate-high grade Titanium, not depletion! Oh dear, lol
    Average crustal abundance of Titanium is around 0.5%....so all of their samples are anomalously high in Ti

    A change from ~10% to 3% Ti suggests a change in protolith, probably magmatic rocks, as Ti is relatively immobile in hydrothermal systems.

    Does it have any V2O5 with it? Only 11.6% Fe, so I maybe not...?

    Have they missed a decimal place with their Ti assays?
