    I haven't been thinking too much of analogies. Rather trying to get a feel for what some of the shapes and grade variations could be indicating based on limited data available.

    Aquila seems to be a relatively tabular body at the SE contact of the Aq-Crow intrusive.

    Something is controlling the intrusive margin, and perhaps gold grades, along the Aquila trend.
    Is the shape of Crow coincidental based on the limited drilling or is it real.

    If real there appears to be a similar pattern occurring at Brolga as shown in these two sections.

    and 80m grid east where the intrusive appears to be pinching out (rough green line)

    Hole 49 has some intersections of Intrusive but does appear to have been drilled roughly down trend (??dip) of the footwall contact of Hemi intrusives.
    Wack's post included an image from which this is an excerpt.

    This suggests a cluster of related intrusives with Aircore holes 491-3 (Zone D) hinting at another gold rich zone in and intrusive. What is the relationship to the others intrusives.

    More questions than answers especially when structural geology is a very weak suit for me.

    The terms Imbricate and (much less likely) en echelon structures where pre-existing intrusives have been faulted/thrusted and perhaps simultaneously intruded cross my mind. There appears to be a NW-SE axis to the Hemi "intrusives" - significant or not?

    The distribution of grade IMO does hint at some form of structural control. How such structures would fit into the observed regional pattern(s) does not appear very logical at the moment, if it ever will. The magnetic trends to the SE show probable lithology changes so Zone "D" may be the last intrusive lobe(??).

    ================
    On the issue of size it does look like Hemi is pushing towards the Tier 2 level as discussed above. Grades and thicknesses below 250m appear to offer little support for deep open pit potential (Lots more drilling to be done and there may be some pleasant surprises).

    Zone D (around Aircore holes 491-3) would be helpful.

    Brolga grid east assays are somewhat limited and more drilling is required. The pinching out observed on 30640E may be fairly real for both intrusive and grade.

    ===================
    Offhand I can't think of a fair analogy to this seemingly complex array of mineralised intrusives. Yes Gruyere is intrusive but it is more like a simple large dyke/intrusive.
    I suspect there has been some form of structural disruption here which only more data will tell if the idea is real and how gold mineralisation is related to intrusives/structure.

    Weekend musings not proof read ... tempted not to post but treat it with care and DYOR
    DEG - Hemi 2M oz+ of resource with drilling to date - How big the + Plus is ...............Patience.

    I like what Lezok said about the refractory nature of gold in larger deposits. Hopefully it won't be an issue there will be many others along the way.
