I agree that short term market price cannot be the only driver for a company but the longer term share price cannot be ignored. Investors like RA Capital won't wait around forever to get a return when there are other opportunities for them to make money. If they sold their shares and moved on, when could the rest of us expect to see a recovery in the share price? Like it or not, we have VC money underpinning us and ROI is their only driver.
