Yeah the market collapse did us in, if the gold price held, Newcrest were in for the long haul. . The drilll results weren't bad, but it was such a big potential deposit, they were still trying to find the source of the gold. But such is life.
It's when I really learnt to sell on the hype and not results.
Are they still running their private company? I know they weren't too far in getting the minimum number of investors to float, but I've heard nothing since.
