There are many issues with coordinates that are beyond the pay grade of the average geo or person on HC.

I had looked into the variation between GE coordinates and GDA1994 and the difference seemed to be relatively low (less than 10m from memory) which is not too significant for HC consumption.

Don't fully understand how much difference is implied in this link. Seems to be 2m between WGS and GDA but plate tectonics causes annual increases as well.

This level of discrepancy is not easy to see on a map like this. These chip samples plot close to a visual linear BUT data come from LNR and are plotted onto GE using conversion software that uses high level math.
For my purposes close enough... I hope.



LNR will use one system and have on ground control so it isn't an issue for them.

Just for anyone who tries to independently use the data even then the above example suggests any discrepancies are within tolerances of the end user.
