They should have been forthright in informing us that it required a whole new product to be engineered for hernia.
I don’t think this particular criticism is valid. Since more than a year ago, the company has made it clear that the hernia product isn’t BTM, it’s a unique product. And they have been upfront that development of the hernia device has required new machinery, a new Novosorb extruded film that is ultrasonically welded and new manufacturing techniques.
They just haven’t been upfront about why they are now so far out in their timelines. They’re not even in the vicinity of the goalposts.
